Italian Baroque Violinist and Conductor

Enrico Onofri is an Italian violinist and conductor renowned for his expertise in Baroque music. Born in Ravenna, Italy, he began his musical studies on the violin and graduated from the Conservatorio Martini in Bologna. Onofri has gained international acclaim for his skillful interpretations and performances of both well-known and obscure works from the 17th and 18th centuries. He was the concertmaster of the ensemble Il Giardino Armonico from 1987 to 2010, where he played a pivotal role in their recordings and international tours.
