Ziad Rahbani is a Lebanese composer, pianist, playwright, and political commentator known for his contributions to both the music and theatrical scenes in Lebanon and the Arab world. Born on January 1, 1956, he is the son of the famous Lebanese singer Fairuz and the late composer Assi Rahbani, one of the Rahbani Brothers who played a significant role in shaping Lebanese music. Ziad has carved out his own niche with a style that blends jazz, classical music, and traditional Lebanese music.
