The album Flick of the Switch, released in 1983 on AC/DC , was the band's tenth studio album. The album was recorded at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas and mixed at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. It was the band's first album to be recorded with new drummer Simon Wright, who replaced Phil Rudd. The album was produced by the band and George Young, who was the older brother of Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC . The album was not as successful as the band's previous albums, only reaching number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. In 2006, the album reached number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. The first single from the album, "Nervous Shakedown", became a moderate hit and reached number 39 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2012, the album reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The second single from the album, "Flick of the Switch", was not as successful and only reached number 66 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was well received by music critics. Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic gave the album 4 stars out of 5, calling it "an understated, underrated album". He praised the "dirty, bluesy rock'n'roll" and said it was "an album that is easily
