"We just enjoy playing our instruments. That never goes away. I love creating, writing and exercising that part of my mind. We've been doing that for a long time and we don't take it for granted. Every time we get together, we know we can't let ourselves or our fans down, so we try harder," says John Petrucci, who produced the record with James "Jimmy T" Meslin.
