An album full of interesting things Only last year, Kansas released a brand new album "The Prelude Implicit", which they then brought on stage several times. Leftoverture Live & Beyond" is the corresponding live album. The album contains a total of 19 tracks that were recorded during the twelve shows of Leftoverture's 40th anniversary spring tour. In addition to tracks from the current studio album, the album features classics from the American rock legends such as "Dust In The Wind", "Icarus", "Portrait (He Knew)" and all songs from their fourth album "Leftoverture". Leftoverture Live & Beyond" was produced by Jeff Glixman, who has worked on several Kansas albums, including the legendary "Masque" (1975) and "Leftoverture" (1976). This live album has it all: "Leftoverture Live & Beyond" brings the best of the great Kansas 2017 tour. With a legendary career spanning nearly five decades, Kansas is one of America's most important classic rock bands. This Topeka "garage band" released its first album in 1974 after being discovered by Wally Gold, who was working for Don Kirshner. Kansas has since sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. The band currently consists of drummer and founding member Phil Erhart, bassist and vocalist Billy Greer, fiddler and guitarist David Ragsdale, keyboardist and vocalist Tom Brislin, guitarist Zak Rizvi and founding member and guitarist Richard Williams. Kansas hasn't let up one bit, still playing to large audiences and inspiring people all over the world. This summer, Kansas will release their 16th studio album, "The Absence of Presence". In addition, the now sold out special edition digipack "Leftoverture Live & Beyond" is once again available as a standard 2CD jewelscase.
