Bonobo (Ninja Tune) is considered a big fan of Khruangbin and has secured her support on her US tour.

Khruangba's debut album "The Universe Smiles Upon You" was released in 2015. The album was heavily influenced by Thai funk and soul music of the 60s and 70s. The album was well received by critics and was nominated for "Best International Album" at the 2016 Independent Music Awards.
