On the contrary: the singer-songwriter is set to unveil a brand new album in December 2017. "The Visitor" is the title of the seventy-one-year-old studio album. After the predecessor "Hitchhiker" presented an old folk statement that has been lost for more than 40 years, this time listeners can look forward to blues, rock, funk, orchestral sounds and many other influences. Neil Young will be supported by some old friends: the Promise Of The Real, the band around Willie Nelson's son Lukas, was involved in the party back in 2015 on the album "The Monsanto Years" and in 2016 on the live album "Earth". They recently visited Rick Rubin's Shangri La Studios together. The first preview was released back in June with the song "Children Of Destiny". In November, "Already Great" was released, another bluesy precursor to the ten-song album "The Visitor". Multi-faceted, more experimental than ever and as expressive as ever: Neil Young is at his best in 2017 on his new album "The Vistior".
