What's the Story) Morning Glory? is the second studio album by English rock band Oasis , released on 2 October 1995 by Creation Records. It was produced by Owen Morris and the band's guitarist Noel Gallagher. The album was a critical and commercial success, selling over 22 million copies worldwide and becoming the fifth best-selling album in UK chart history. The album spawned four singles, "Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back in Anger", "Champagne Supernova" and "Some Might Say". All three of the first singles reached number one in the UK singles chart. "Wonderwall" also became a number one hit in the US, Australia and other countries. At the time of its release, the album was hailed by the music press as the breakthrough album of the 1990s. In the years that have passed since its release, many consider it one of the best albums of all time.
