Identical to the Labrador 29 MKIII, but with reduced depth.

A loudspeaker system of the most economical dimensions, designed ideally for the rear or side effects channel of a home cinema.

Conceptually, the surround is designed as a two-way speaker system with the bassreflex located on the frontm panel, allowing the AQ Labrador 229 MKIII to sit flush against the wall when placed indoors . The bassreflex is equipped with a radius of attack on both sides to eliminate the flutter of turbulent flow at the edge.

The base is a Scan-Speak 5" mid-bass driver in a cast aluminium basket with a fibreglass diaphragm.The Vifa tweeter with a 1" fabric calotte has its action defined by a precision tweeter with a steepness of 12 dB/Oct. The loudspeaker uses a rigid sandwich front, where the transducers are recessed in the sound box.

TheLabrador 229 MKII is able to cover the full bandwidth from 60 Hz to 30 kHz, pushing the home theater sound to a very vivid and faithful expression.
